column and partitions in the structure - as tools for analyzing the structure and the operating systems within it.

The arrangement of the construction system to the concept of column structure creates the building's framework and spaces in the structure.

Identification and cataloging of the good and bad aspects related to columns and partitions in the building. There is a proliferation of columns in the structure in a grid that is orderly and fixed, but the movement in the structure is not organized due to the dense grid of partitions that does not "work" with the grid of columns, resulting in confusion and problematic intersections between partitions and columns, as well as intersections in traffic routes such as a column in the entrance of a stairwell.

Thus, the realization came that the proliferation of columns allows freedom in the structure despite its complexity and provides rhythm to the structure, contrary to partitions, which do not work together with the grid of columns. Thus, the stage of manipulations on the building began, preserving the good aspects within it, based on the differentiation and the principles of the element as a tool for analyzing the building. I created a mapping of the problematic intersection points between the grids, re-graded the movement system in the structure based on the existing movement system and considering the existing grid of columns. Therefore, the columns themselves also provide a movement system through linear stairs and the addition of bridges for more efficient movement, as well as eliminating several staircases and walking paths. I redefined the program of the structure by changing the commercial and petty partitions to circular and fractal forms that imply a sense of freedom in the building.
