Matanya 1–10 | Ramat Gan
The Matanya 1–10 Project is located between Ahad Ha’am Street and the National Park, at the southeastern edge of the Ramat Hashikma neighborhood in Ramat Gan. The project forms part of the area’s ongoing urban renewal strategy, aimed at improving residential quality and strengthening neighborhood connectivity.
The plan proposes the demolition of eight aging residential buildings comprising 40 housing units, and their replacement with two new 20-storey mixed-use buildings featuring residential units above active ground-floor commercial spaces, for a total of 144 residential units.
As part of the urban intervention, the project includes the widening of Ahad Ha’am Street, designated as a public right-of-way, and the creation of a direct pedestrian and urban connection between the street and the National Park. This connection is articulated through a shared commercial plaza serving both buildings, opening the park toward the project’s residents and the wider neighborhood community, and reinforcing the relationship between the built environment and the adjacent green landscape.
